FIRST STEPS UPON ARRIVAL
Student should decide on the exact date and time of his/her arrival and inform partner educational institution coordinator by mail: briw@pwsz-ns.edu.pl, by fax 0048/184434608 or by phone 0048/184434545. Student should report in person coordinator of international affairs upon arrival in Nowy Sacz. at International Office Department at Staszica 1 Street, room nr 101, 102 (first floor).
ACCOMMODATION
Student Dormitory PWSZ in Nowy Sacz is located at Dlugosza 1 Street, phone/fax number 0048/184436945. In order to reserve a place in a Dormitory student must submit an application until 15th of September for a following academic year. Disabled student may stay at a Dormitory as well. However, unfortunately there aren't any facilities for disabled persons. There is a cafeteria at Student Dormitory serving dinner. There is a store "EuropaII" next to a Dormitory. Students may stay physically active by using modern sports facilities in the town.
ECTS - EUROPEAN CREDIT TRANSFER SYSTEM
The ECTS, The European Credit Transfer System, was conceived in the EU to facilitate the co-operation between European universities.
ECTS scoring enables measurement and comparison of the results achieved by the student as well as transferring these results between universities. It allows for clear and transparent definition of the rules for international studies, their full recognition and credit requirements. |
