The six theoretically and empirically based scientific papers written by the teachers of Teacher Training Faculty in Belgrade encompass a range of topics. The findings are presented concisely, in a logical order and intelligible style, based on the following criteria: formal scientific competence, correlation between the content and subject of research, substantiality, availability and successful application in teaching practice. The authors systematised their findings, interpreted the researches conducted, reinterpreted current surveys and offered concrete solutions and proposals. The articles reflect highly important and topical areas and a comprehensive list of reference literature used. The range of over 70 bibliographical units covers, to the best of our knowledge, all most important results referring to the issues discussed in these papers.

Authors of the articles are touching crucial pedeutology issues. The main guiding problem is the teacher's role in contemporary education. This is the voice in discussion, which concerns social requirements towards teachers in modern reality, which permanently is being change. The content of articles illustrate main interests of each author. We can find points of references there, concerning both, theoretical bases of educating teachers and their practical and professional preparation. Comments and insights arising from analysis of their functioning in preschool and school reality are especially interesting.

The articles written by the professors and teachers of Teacher Training Faculty in Belgrade present the results of theoretical reflections and empirical researches referring to different segments of teaching practice and theory in primary education. The topics considered discuss the correlation between the contents of literature, art and religious education. With their concrete solutions and suggestions offered, pedagogical implications and conclusions drawn on the basis of research results, the authors emphasise the importance of the complementary nature of pedagogical theory and practice, i.e. their mutual implementation.

The reviewed paper include eight articles, where important pedeutology problems analysis is being done. It is especially important for theoretical knowledge and educational practice. Presented texts are valuable pedeutology study and contain significant material, which can cause future quality changes in teachers' functioning in contemporary education.
